The Changrang Collection

Beyond his work as a statesman, Sir Chang Taik Sang (창랑 장택상, 1893–1969) was among the foremost Korean collectors of antiquities of his time. He was also a respected connoisseur, writing art criticism for the Dong-A Ilbo. Much of his collection was lost in the Korean War or sold to fund his campaigns. One masterpiece is now a National Treasure, and the works that remained went to Yeungnam University Museum.
